LuvCorps are the apprentices in the program LUV program.
We have several wage options depending on the employer, this is an example of one of them.
If your existing employer adds the program with you into your existing payroll, we will coordinate directly with your HR department at your employment for wage schedules.

1st 500 -1000 Hours
Core Competency 1 & 2 = 50%
2nd 1000-1500 Hours
Core Competency 3 & 4 = 55%
3rd 1500-2000 Hours
Core Competency 4 & 5 = 64%
4th 2000-4000 Hours
Core Competency 6 = 73%
At completion of at least 4000 hours Core Competency 6 = 98%

Licensed Unmanned Vehicle Pilot Certificate:
24 months online (4000 hours of curriculum, self-paced online)
Continuous Specialty/Supplemental training in tracks chosen
If you choose employment placement, it includes working for the American Climate Corps, A Corps or other location in the US, A private employer, City Government, or not for profit entity in most cases.
Continue online studies over 24 months, remotely through our online classroom, as well as membership, with LUV.

Veteran Scholarships
Follow the steps below if you are a candidate...
As a candidate, you are entering a program at a location anywhere in the United States, but employed by your local Corps, LuvCorps in one of our programs, or a private/public organization in your community.
Your employer will execute an agreement with the USDOL stating they will follow specific program guidelines, curriculum, wage schedule and training.
Your employer may specifically want you to be in one of the pathways.
Example:
If you are in the Veteran Fire Corps they may want you in the Safety & Protection training, however if you are assisting with farmers and a local community farm, then you will be going through the Ag program.
Step 1:
Choose from one of the pathways.
YOU MUST CHOOSE 1 PATH.
Similar to a "minor" over 24 months.
You learn to use your autonomous pilot skills in one the areas.
The training is normally 2 weeks, or you can take all 6 weeks!

Once you have been accepted into the LUV apprenticeship, and completed your certification, you will start your online LUV training program for 24 months.
This is self paced on your schedule.

Every Apprentice goes through our training program.
Your self paced curriculum includes 2000 hours of core curriculum and live sessions for questions with the LUV Team weekly.
The licensed unmanned vehicle pilot apprentice utilizes software for autonomous
applications including drones, cobots and robots.
Machines are used in various
industries and applications, including but not limited to advanced manufacturing,
environmental support, agriculture, the arts, and building sciences.
Learning Topics:
Identify and select different types of drones, cobots, robots.
Interpret FAA safety regulations and observe safety guidelines.
Identify and select different airframes and propellers in autonomous vehicle flying.
Explain/apply knowledge of power systems, electric motors, batteries, chargers, etc.
Identify and select various controllers, transmitters, receivers, etc.
Plan/estimate different payload considerations such as cameras, gimbals and others.
Apply knowledge of ground control stations and FPV.
Perform assembling, MRO and battery care of autonomous vehicles.
Identify basic operating features of a vehicle flight.
Research environmental impact of industrial or development activities.
Perform accident investigation and reporting.
Obtain environmental permits, plans and reports.
Develop plans to manage natural or renewable resources.
Perform land management and conservation activities.
Develop collaborative relationships between departments, agencies, organizations, etc.
Apply knowledge of research findings to address environmental problems.
Core Curriculum
For performance on six core competencies, the apprentice must produce work that demonstrates attainment of an acceptable standard and due regard for safety procedures and practices.
Over 24 months you will be completing 2000 hours of curriculum.
(able to be completed in 12 months, but you have 24 months to complete)
Depending on your goals, some of the hours will transfer to autonomous VTOL flight schools, and independent flight schools, and other organizations.
