U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship

follow the steps below to add a pilot to your organization.

There are unlimited options available for your Licensed Unmanned Vehicle Pilot Technician.  Please keep scrolling down.


Sign on as an employer.

Your employee will be an apprentice in the U.S.D.O.L. Registered Apprenticeship, the Licensed Unmanned Vehicle Pilot Technician.

You will review the USDOL guidelines and sign the employer agreement.

Employers follow a wage agreement.
There are 3 different wage options for employers. 

Your employee works 30 to 40 hours per week.

If your employee is a Veteran, we offer various Veteran options, and the employer receives tax credits/options for reducing your tax liability.

The apprentice continues their online self paced classroom over 24 months.

They are your employee, but are also a Licensed Unmanned Vehicle Pilot (LUVPILOT) within your organization.

Over 24 months we provide training in one specific category to your employee through self paced studies.

2 Weeks Training

Your employee receives 2 weeks of online training & upfront Commercial Pilot Training.

They continue self paced classes over 24 months, and are a
U.S.D.O.L. Certified Licensed Unmanned Vehicle Pilot Technician

Agriculture

Surveying and mapping

Drones can be used for aerial surveying and mapping, which was previously done on foot or with manned aircraft.

Drone pilots can operate delivery drones for goods and medical supplies, or assist with inventory management in warehouses

Drone pilots can work in film production, but may need to fly larger drones with precision.
